Parents / Players PLEASE READ

It's always been an EPSA policy to honor one mutual player request.  In the past, players who wanted to play with multiple friends would arrange it so each friend would request one of the other players in their group causing what we call "daisy chains". This resulted in teams being formed with an unfair advantage because the majority of players knew each other and had played several seasons together. The goal of the EPSA is to provide a non-competitive fun environment and having "stacked" teams does not support that goal.  So, please be aware that commissioners will only  honor one mutual player request.  Please make sure that the player you are requesting also requests you and is in the same division.  If something changes you can log back into your account and change the friend request by editing your registration.

Your Grade
Level
Register your child in the division that comes up based on their age first. Then submit a request to change divisions to play with their grade to the registrar by sending an email to [email protected]. This request will need to be submitted each time you register and need to change divisions.

***During late registration there is NO guarantee of division change. If your child wants to change divisions due to grade, you must check with registration beforehand to make sure there is an opening in the new division.

Financial Support 
Eden Prairie Soccer Association offers financial support to participants who may need assistance paying a portion of the registration fee.
Please email [email protected] for more information once registration is open and PRIOR to completing the registration and making payment.


Friend
Requests
 
The EPSA tries to honor ONE mutual teammate request per player. However, this is not guaranteed. Please enter only ONE teammate request on your child's registration.
 
Refund Policy  A player who has registered and paid the full registration fee may cancel up to 10 days prior to the scheduled start of the season and be eligible to receive a full refund back to the card they paid the registration fee's with online. Any cancellation within 10 days of the scheduled start of the season is not eligible for a refund.

Players who have received scholarship assistance are not eligible for any refund regardless of when they cancel their registration.
 
How to Cancel a Registration  To cancel a registration, send an email to [email protected]  Refunds are only available if the player paid the full registration fee and if the request has been submitted at least 10 days before the scheduled start of the season.

 

Late Registration 

  • You may still be able to register during LATE REGISTRATION. If the division isn't full, we accept late registrations. Click on the registration link above. If there are available spots in the division you need, the system will allow you to register. If you are unable to register, then the division is full.
  • Team and teammate requests are not accommodated because players are placed on teams with openings.
  • If the division is full and you want your child(ren) to be placed on a waiting list, you can send an email to [email protected].
  • If registered players notify the EPSA that they are not going to play this season, we will contact the names on the wait list. Please know that cancellations can happen as late as the last day before the season starts.
  • No additional players will be added to the roster after the scheduled start of the season.

Coach Background Checks

Coaches need to agree to a background screening. After signing up to coach, you will be emailed information from our Risk Management Coordinator on how to log onto the secure background screening website.




 



PLAYER DIVISIONS

The division your child plays in is determined by their birth date (see below).

If you want to have your child play with their grade, register them, then email [email protected] to request to change divisions.
If registering during Late Registration -- check with registration to see if there is availability in the new division.

This request must be done each season if needed. 


 NOTES:

  • If enrollment is low, the Board reserves the right to make a division coed.
  • All divisions have practice and games at the Flying Cloud fields except for Division G.
  • Commissioners may change the Player Setup depending on roster size.
